I certainly know I have read a lot about how the braconid wasp will use a tomato hornworm to feed its pupae, but we had so few hornworms in Vermont I never really got to see the process in action. Not so down here...the tomatoes grow to twice the size and hornworms can be come alarmingly abundant.
Well I just went out to pick a tomato for my sandwich, and look what I found! This is a classic wonder of an organic garden...and just think how many more braconid wasps I'll soon have protecting them 'maters!
